I think this has to do something with the device trying to filter out accidental note triggers, which then leads to higher sensitivity settings actually being less reliable. Weirdly enough, sometimes you have to set it to be less sensitive in order for the pads to respond well and not get stuck. Don’t change anything yet! Should you encounter pads not being responsive when playing, it usually helps to adjust the sensitivity slider. – Go to file, preferences, Maschine Mikro mk3 and just look at where the sensitivity slider is at the moment. – Run controller editor ( on windows pc’s run as administrator) – Now press shift + maschine logo to activate MIDI mode. – Plug your maschine mikro out and plug it back in.

– Make sure no Maschine software is running. – Once the firmware is upgraded you can close the Maschine software.

– Make sure you install the firmware update because you might need it to be able to activate MIDI mode! – It should automatically recognize your Mikro Mk3 controller and if there’s a firmware update available for the device, you will be notified. – After installing everything, run the Maschine Software.
